How to make Syrian kato candy





The Syrian Kato Method 



Syrian kato:

⧫ The ingredients:
  1.  Four large white eggs. 
  2.  Two cups of white flour for dessert.
  3. A cup of soft white sugar.
  4. 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla or powder.
  5. Spoon of baking powder.
  6. A tablespoon of starch.
  7. Half a cup of liquid and unsweetened cocoa.
  8. It is worth mentioning that some flavors of different fruits can be used as desired.
  9.  A cup of creamy whipped cream.


How to prepare:  
  •  Put the starch, white flour, and baking powder in a suitable sieve and stir them for more than once, and this helps the cake to bloat and be spongy. 
  • We put flannel, eggs in a suitable bowl, and they fail well with each other. 
  • Add the egg mixture gradually to the white flour mixture, and stir the ingredients using the electric or manual batting as desired until we get a cohesive mixture.
  • Add the white sugar to the previous mixture and continue beating until we get a cohesive mixture.
  • Add the cocoa or the preferred flavors as desired to the previous mixture, and fail well until we get a cohesive mixture.
  • We choose a suitable tray, and we paint it with butter from all sides and white flour.
  • We put the cake mixture in Chinese flat.
  • Garnish with a few chocolate granules, or some fruit or other pieces.
  • Turn on the oven at 180 ° C before inserting the tray into the oven for a quarter of an hour or more.
  • We enter the oven into the oven, leave it for at least an hour, until it takes the golden color and make sure that the kato has matured by inserting the edge of the knife into the mixture.
  • If nothing is attached, the liquid is fully matured.
  • Open the oven a little and leave it open for five minutes, and do not leave the cake from the oven quickly so as not to blow.    
  • We take the cake out of the oven after a while and gently, and we flip it in the serving bowl.
  •  We prepare the cream and saute the cake from all sides and in a flat level using a pointed knife. 
  • Sprinkle a little stuffed chocolate over the cake and a little roasted coconut on the fire until it takes the golden color.
  • We go into the refrigerator for at least three hours.
  • We take the cake out of the refrigerator and serve it with a cup of tea or natural juice as desired.
